    the definitive version – actually the only one that matters. this, and her version of ‘over the rainbow’, should be on a list of songs (along with sam cooke’s ‘a change is gonna come’ , etta james’s ‘ at last’, jim croce’s ‘operator’, donnie hathaway’s ‘a song for you’ and john denver’s ‘annie’s song, to name a few) that lesser singers should not be allowed to touch…..
